IPTV and your media server.
One TV interface.

MediaHub brings Xtream IPTV together with Jellyfin, Emby or Plex in a single Android TV app built around a remote, not a touchscreen.

What it does

Everything you watch, without changing apps.

MediaHub keeps IPTV and your own media separate where it matters, but gives them the same navigation, search and playback experience.

Live TV

Channel categories, EPG, favourites, live preview and fullscreen playback with MPEG-TS or HLS.

Movies & Series

Browse IPTV VOD by category with poster-focused grids, resume support and watched progress.

Media Server

Connect Jellyfin, Emby or Plex and browse libraries, seasons, episodes and Continue Watching.

Made for a remote

D-pad navigation, TV-friendly focus states and settings designed to work from the sofa.

Live TV

Channel browsing without losing what’s on.

The Live TV screen keeps your categories, channel list, preview and current programme information together. Preview can be disabled or delayed, and stream format can be switched between MPEG-TS and HLS.

  • EPG now/next information
  • Favourite channels
  • Preview delay controls
  • Optional last-channel restore

Media Server

Jellyfin, Emby and Plex share one MediaHub experience.

The app uses a common Media Server layer so your library feels consistent whichever server you run.

Jellyfin

Direct server sign-in, libraries, movies, TV shows, Continue Watching, resume and watched state.

Emby

Native Emby authentication with shared MediaHub library browsing, playback and progress reporting.

Plex

TV-friendly account linking with server discovery plus Direct Play, Direct Stream and transcoding support.

Browse

Poster-first browsing for movies and series.

Categories stay on the left while the content gets the space. Focus is deliberately clear and there’s no unnecessary animation getting in the way.

Compatibility

Tested on real Android TV hardware.

MediaHub uses Android MediaCodec for video, with native audio decoding first and FFmpeg audio fallback where required. Playback work is tested on physical Android TV hardware as well as the emulator.

FAQ

A few useful details.

Does MediaHub include IPTV channels or media?

No. MediaHub is a client. You provide your own compatible IPTV service and/or your own Jellyfin, Emby or Plex server.

Which devices does it support?

MediaHub is built for Android TV / Google TV. It is currently Alpha software, so compatibility may vary between devices and codecs.

Can I use MediaHub with only IPTV or only a Media Server?

Yes. Either can be used on its own, or both can be connected together.

Is Plex sign-in done on the TV?

Plex uses a link-code flow so you can authorise MediaHub from another device rather than entering your Plex password with a TV remote.
